Role
Designer, Lead Designer
I was a key team member in developing a cohesive and consistent wayfinding system for Premera's renovated office campus with the goal of uniting multiple buildings under a single program.
The masterplan included a nomenclature and re-numbering strategy for all buildings and rooms, with each building named after a natural wonder found in the Pacific Northwest. We developed unique patterns that mimicked those found in the natural wonders, which appear at each entry and in conference rooms to provide clear wayfinding cues throughout the campus and within each building.
The wayfinding program was designed with clarity and inclusivity in mind. We took materiality and color cues from the PNW and the renovated architecture to create a final result that reflects the surrounding natural environment. The program is clear and concise, ensuring that employees and visitors can easily find their way and reinforcing Premera's commitment to healthcare.
